Our Blacksmithing course is aimed at anyone who would like to immerse themselves deeper into the world of traditional blacksmithing.
This course is aimed at the keen hobbyist, those considering blacksmithing as a career, or those who have carried out forge work previously and would like to broaden their skills. Your instructors, Jessica and Tim, both have many years experience and were themselves taught by one of the top master blacksmiths in the country.
It is a week long course on Monday 9th to Friday 13th September 2024 from 9.30 am until 4.30 pm. All appropriate PPE, drinks and snacks are included but please bring your own packed lunch. These exclusive courses are currently only running once a year and limited to six attendees, so don’t miss out!
This advanced course is £680.00 per person. The payment is required in full at the time of booking online but please get in touch if you have any queries.
This course is based around the creation of a bespoke hanging basket specially designed to incorporate numerous traditional blacksmithing techniques; which you may take home at the end of an exciting week along with a certificate issued on completion of the course.
All appropriate PPE is provided.

What to Wear-
No fleeces or coats that are highly flammable. We would recommend Hoodies and/or sweatshirts
Over boot jeans
Hair tied back and no jewellery
Sturdy footwear such as steel-toe-capped or walking boots
We provide all PPE which includes goggles, ear plugs and aprons
During the winter months, it can be freezing in the workshop until the fires gets going and in between demonstrations, so please wear plenty of suitable clothing.
