BLACKSMITHS KNIFE GROUP DAY

£190.00

Our knife-making courses offer an immersive opportunity to explore the art of traditional bladesmithing. Working with high-carbon steel, participants will hand-forge both the blade and a rat-tail style handle, guided by expert instruction throughout the process.

Once forging is complete and your bespoke, heirloom-quality knife has cooled, you will be introduced to the precision finishing stage. This includes carefully grinding a bevel edge using our Engineering Shop Master belt grinder. Your finished knife is then yours to take home, ready for final sharpening and years of use.

You will take part in a small group session of up to six participants, guided by two experienced blacksmiths throughout the day.

What's included in the price?

A hearty lunch, snacks, and drinks are all included, along with PPE, materials, and fuel — just bring yourself and your enthusiasm!
