Would you like to become a blacksmith for the day? Our group sessions are the perfect answer. Whether you are coming on your own, with a friend or loved one.
We have set projects that are designed to give you a wide variety of traditional blacksmithing techniques. Some of the items we have made in the past are fire pokers, candlestick holders, knives, toasting forks are a few to mention. At the moment, we are forging fancy bottle openers. These have been carefully designed to give you a range of traditional techniques. Also, we get to try them out at the end of the day……… Cheers!
The price is per person and you will be part of a group of up to 6 people with two tutors.
A hearty lunch, all snacks and drinks are all included, along with materials and fuel for the coke fires.
You can reschedule your experience day anytime up to two weeks before you are due to attend by getting in touch with us via our contact page.

What to Wear-
No fleeces or coats that are highly flammable. We would recommend Hoodies and/or sweatshirts
Over boot jeans
Hair tied back and no jewellery
Sturdy footwear such as steel-toe-capped or walking boots
We provide all PPE which includes goggles, ear plugs and aprons
During the winter months, it can be freezing in the workshop until the fires gets going and in between demonstrations, so please wear plenty of suitable clothing.
